What does it mean to put your phone at risk?

Putting your device at risk is when you knowingly place your phone in a situation where it’s likely to be either stolen, damaged, left behind or used without your knowledge.

A good example of this would be if you were in a busy pub and you purposefully left your phone on the bar and didn’t either pick it up or asked someone to keep an eye on it when you went to the bathroom. If the phone was then stolen or damaged, it wouldn’t really come as much of a surprise, would it?

Unfortunately, in these situations - we can’t replace the phone as you intentionally put yourself in a position where the worst was likely to happen.

Here at so-sure, we like to think of our phones as large wad of cash, do this and you’ll be alright!
