So what do you need to know about this latest beaut from Samsung?
Firstly they are even more brilliant than the previous Galaxy phones. Both have great battery life, storage capabilities (so much more storage for all your cool photos and videos) …festivals here we come! Oh yeah and did Samsung mention their amazing new camera lens that takes crystal clear photos anywhere in any light (we’re sure you have see the huge billboards all over the place).
So what’s the difference between the Galaxy S9 ad the S9+?
Size – does it matter 😉?
The S9 is 5.8 inches and the S9+ is 6.2 inches.
Battery Life
The S9 has slightly less battery life than the S9+ (3,000 mAh – which in layman’s terms is well over 10 hours) versus the S9+ which has 3,50 mAh. We think both of these have wicked battery life so you shouldn’t be caught short before you get home to a charger on the way home from work
RAM
The S9 has 4GB of RAM and the S9+ 6GB of RAM
The Camera
Ok so lets be honest, we use our phones mainly for WhatsApp, Instagram, Snapchat, Facebook, taking pictures, videos and boomerangs… did we miss any? So knowing that, the S9+ stand out feature is the camera. It features a dual lens that offers super slow mo, optical image stabilisation, and a fantastic zoom (2x). The S9 on the other had, although still brilliant offers a single camera lens.
Other Features
They are both water resistant and can be submerged in up to 1.5 meters of water for 30 minutes (although we don’t recommend trying it as we are insurers after all).
Both phones also have MicroSD card slots and now they come in both 64GB and 256GB.
Lastly they have improved the design, they are now much more comfortable to hold and the fingerprint sensor has been moved below the camera module, so it’s even easier to access your phone.
